Position Overview:

The Organic SEO Manager is responsible for leading Nomad Internet’s search engine optimization strategy across all properties, with a focus on increasing qualified organic traffic and capturing high-intent, non-paid search demand. This role owns the development and execution of on-page, technical, and content-based SEO initiatives while ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals. The SEO Manager must consistently identify new ranking opportunities, optimize existing content, oversee proper indexing, and ensure site health remains strong across all Google and Bing search surfaces. This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing and works cross-functionally with content, web development, and analytics teams.


1. SEO Strategy & Keyword Planning

  • Build and maintain a dynamic SEO strategy aligned with Nomad’s growth goals

  • Conduct ongoing keyword research, clustering, and intent mapping

  • Prioritize content and technical optimization opportunities based on search volume and conversion potential

  • Develop SEO strategies for category pages, landing pages, blog content, and location-based searches

  • Monitor competitor rankings and SERP changes to adjust strategy weekly


2. On-Page & Content Optimization

  • Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headers, URLs, and image alt tags

  • Collaborate with content writers and CRO team to implement SEO-friendly copy

  • Ensure all product and service pages are optimized for both desktop and mobile

  • Use structured data (schema) where appropriate to enhance click-through and indexing

  • Manage internal linking structure and anchor strategy to support crawlability


3. Technical SEO Oversight

  • Maintain a clean, crawlable site structure with optimal page speed, indexation, and sitemap coverage

  • Conduct regular audits for 404s, redirect chains, duplicate content, broken links, and orphaned pages

  • Submit and maintain XML sitemaps and robots.txt files in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools

  • Collaborate with developers to resolve indexing errors, canonicalization issues, and mobile usability problems

  • Monitor Core Web Vitals and implement improvements to meet Google’s performance thresholds


4. Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, CTR, bounce rates, and conversions via GA4 and search platforms

  • Create weekly and monthly SEO performance reports with clear trend analysis

  • Maintain dashboards showing keyword movement, page performance, and priority tasks

  • Monitor SERP volatility and algorithm changes, adapting strategy in real time

  • Deliver SEO insights to support paid media, email, and content strategies


Key Objectives & Results (OKRs):

Objective 1: Increase Qualified Organic Traffic

  • Grow organic sessions by 30% within the first 90 days

  • Rank 10 new keywords on Page 1 of Google within 60 days

  • Expand content-driven traffic through blog and resource optimization

Objective 2: Strengthen Technical SEO Infrastructure

  • Eliminate all crawl errors and indexation issues within 30 days

  • Achieve 90+ score in Core Web Vitals across top 20 landing pages

  • Maintain <1% duplicate content across all indexed URLs

Objective 3: Optimize Existing Page Performance

  • Improve CTR by 15% on top 10 converting pages

  • Increase average on-page time by 20% on SEO-priority pages

  • Implement schema markup across all service/product pages by Week 6

Objective 4: Create Scalable SEO Framework

  • Build a live SEO tracker for keyword movement and task prioritization

  • Finalize on-page SEO SOP and URL naming guidelines by Week 4

  • Implement ongoing site audit cadence with developer support every 30 days


Position Requirements:

  • Must drive organic visibility growth across all search engines

  • Must maintain technical SEO health and content discoverability

  • Must deliver timely reporting and adaptation based on real-time search changes

  • Must work cross-functionally with marketing, web, and content teams


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in SEO strategy, content optimization, and technical SEO

  • Strong command of Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and GA4

  • Experience optimizing e-commerce and service websites at scale

  • Familiar with HTML, CSS basics, and technical issue troubleshooting

  • Able to communicate SEO priorities clearly to developers and executives

  • Results-driven with a documented history of ranking growth and traffic gains
