Position Overview:
The Social Media Manager is responsible for planning, publishing, and managing all organic content across Nomad Internet’s social media platforms. This includes Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and emerging channels. The Social Media Manager ensures each post aligns with current campaigns, maintains brand tone, and encourages measurable engagement. This role works closely with the Community Manager, Art Director, and Ads team to build content calendars, report KPIs, and maintain a strong, consistent brand presence. The position reports directly to the Director of Marketing.
1. Content Planning & Calendar Management
Own and manage the monthly social content calendar
Align posts with active offers, holidays, launches, and paid campaigns
Schedule content for all platforms using approved publishing tools
Coordinate with design and video teams to request post assets in advance
Maintain a balance of promotional, educational, and community content types
2. Publishing & Brand Voice Consistency
Write all post captions using approved tone and messaging guidelines
Publish stories, reels, carousels, shorts, and static posts as scheduled
Monitor post formatting and presentation for consistency across platforms
Ensure brand standards (tone, hashtags, image use, disclaimer language) are followed
Partner with Community Manager to optimize timing for reach and response
3. Engagement Growth & Platform Strategy
Track key performance indicators including:
Reach
Engagement rate
Follower growth
Video views
Post saves and shares
Identify post types and formats that outperform
Recommend new formats, hashtags, or trends for testing
Collaborate with CRO and Ads teams to align organic messaging with campaign funnels
Propose organic engagement initiatives such as giveaways, contests, or user takeovers
4. Reporting & Trend Analysis
Submit weekly report to Director of Marketing including:
Top-performing posts
Platform-level engagement trends
Growth summary
Test results
Content gaps or creative needs
Maintain archive of all published content for compliance and repurposing
Track competitor social strategies and recommend adjustments to stay competitive
Flag brand sentiment risks, viral trends, or negative platform changes in real time
Key Objectives & Results (OKRs):
Objective 1: Grow Follower Base and Engagement
Increase monthly net followers by 15%
Raise engagement rate across all platforms by 25%
Post at least 5x per week on core platforms with full caption and media alignment
Objective 2: Align Organic Posts with Active Campaigns
Support every paid campaign with 2–3 organic posts per offer
Maintain consistent visual and message alignment with ads, email, and landing pages
Publish time-sensitive offers within 24 hours of campaign launch
Objective 3: Maintain High Quality and Brand Consistency
Achieve 100% content publishing with brand voice and formatting adherence
Maintain fully updated content calendar at least 14 days ahead
Coordinate design/video deadlines for all asset needs by Week 2 of each month
Objective 4: Build Data-Driven Content Strategy
Archive top 20 performing posts by format, platform, and message
Implement 1 new content type test per month (e.g., polls, quizzes, testimonials)
Submit weekly performance briefs with actionable insight
Position Requirements:
Must own all social media publishing, planning, and engagement growth
Must ensure content is on-brand, timely, and aligned with paid strategy
Must track and report performance consistently
Must collaborate with internal creative, ads, and reputation teams
Required Qualifications:
4–6 years experience in social media marketing or digital content planning
Proven experience growing social channels and managing campaigns in a high-performance setting
Proficiency in publishing tools (Meta Suite, Later, Sprout, Hootsuite, etc.)
Strong writing skills with attention to voice, tone, and message hierarchy
Ability to manage content calendars, coordinate asset requests, and respond to real-time needs
Organized, detail-oriented, and creative with a results-driven mindset
