Position Overview:

The Web Designer is responsible for designing and delivering visually compelling, on-brand web assets for Nomad Internet, including landing pages, promotional banners, product modules, and funnel components. This role focuses on the aesthetics and user flow of static and dynamic web pages, supporting performance goals while maintaining brand cohesion. The Web Designer collaborates with the Art Director, UI/UX Designer, CRO team, and Web Developer to implement design work that enhances clarity, credibility, and conversion. This is an execution-focused role requiring strong layout skills, attention to mobile detail, and rapid turnaround under campaign deadlines.


1. Page & Module Design

  • Design conversion-focused landing pages, sales pages, and homepage components

  • Create modular web assets including offer banners, hero sections, testimonial displays, and form containers

  • Ensure consistency in spacing, font usage, CTA styling, and grid alignment

  • Support CRO requests for variant layouts and lead magnet-specific flows

  • Prepare responsive versions for mobile, tablet, and desktop delivery


2. Marketing Asset Support

  • Design visual assets for website announcements, timed promotions, and product feature rows

  • Build web-ready creative that supports seasonal offers, subscription plans, or launch events

  • Collaborate with the Ads Manager and Email team to align visual messaging across channels

  • Adapt existing design frameworks to new content requests or creative tests

  • Ensure all image exports are properly optimized for page speed and resolution quality


3. Design Handoff & Collaboration

  • Deliver all files in layered, organized formats (Figma, XD, or PSD)

  • Annotate handoffs with specs, hover states, font rules, and responsive notes

  • Work closely with the Web Developer to ensure pixel-accurate front-end implementation

  • Revise files based on stakeholder or CRO feedback and support QA before launch

  • Maintain proper file versioning and naming conventions for rapid edits or rollbacks


4. Brand Consistency & Visual Execution

  • Follow and apply Nomad’s design guidelines and visual standards precisely

  • Maintain brand tone through image style, color hierarchy, and typographic control

  • Flag any inconsistencies or off-brand requests before execution

  • Keep component use aligned with the global design system created by UI/UX and Art Directors

  • Archive assets in a shared system with tags for usage, performance, and campaign phase


Key Objectives & Results (OKRs):

Objective 1: Deliver High-Performing Web Layouts

  • Complete 3–5 full web layout assignments per week

  • Maintain 100% on-time handoff to developer team

  • Reduce revision rate below 10% across all new pages

Objective 2: Maintain Brand & Design Consistency

  • Adhere to global design system rules on 100% of web asset output

  • Use approved templates and modules across page types

  • Ensure uniformity in padding, fonts, colors, and button styling across all layouts

Objective 3: Support CRO Testing & Landing Page Variations

  • Deliver 2+ test variant layouts per week for CRO campaigns

  • Complete all design tasks from test queue within 72 hours

  • Coordinate with CRO Manager to ensure UX logic is upheld

Objective 4: Optimize for Mobile & Speed

  • Design all components with mobile-first view hierarchy

  • Submit only web-optimized files to dev team (compressed images, icon SVGs, etc.)

  • Ensure all submitted layouts pass core layout and text visibility audits


Position Requirements:

  • Must deliver complete web layouts optimized for clarity, speed, and CRO

  • Must collaborate with UI/UX, CRO, and Developer to complete build cycles

  • Must be highly responsive to launch deadlines and iterative design workflows

  • Must maintain asset accuracy, brand consistency, and mobile formatting standards


Required Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years experience designing web pages and marketing assets for e-commerce, SaaS, or lead-gen sites

  • Strong proficiency in Figma (preferred), Adobe XD, or Photoshop

  • Solid understanding of layout structure, visual hierarchy, and CTA placement

  • Working knowledge of responsive breakpoints and front-end implementation best practices

  • Familiarity with CRO goals and mobile-first layout considerations

  • Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and capable of producing clean, conversion-optimized work
