Position Overview:

The Ads Manager is responsible for leading Nomad Internet’s paid media strategy and execution across Meta Ads, Google Ads, and emerging performance channels. This role manages both direct-response campaigns and broader awareness initiatives, ensuring that ad spend translates into qualified leads and measurable ROI. The Ads Manager also oversees day-to-day execution of all social media marketing (SMM), ensuring messaging, frequency, and engagement align with campaign priorities. This role works closely with the Director of Marketing and cross-departmental leads to track attribution, refine targeting, and scale winning campaigns.


1. Paid Media Strategy & Execution

  • Manage all active campaigns on Meta Ads, Google Ads, and other approved platforms

  • Build ad sets, define targeting logic, write headlines, and test creatives

  • Adjust campaign budgets daily based on performance data and lead flow

  • Launch new audience segments, retargeting sequences, and dynamic product feeds

  • Monitor cost-per-lead (CPL), click-through rate (CTR), and ROAS in real time


2. Ad Performance Optimization

  • Conduct weekly A/B testing for creatives, placements, and calls-to-action

  • Identify and pause underperforming ads or audiences within 24 hours

  • Coordinate with CRO and content teams for offer testing and page adjustments

  • Ensure tracking pixels, UTM structure, and conversion goals are firing accurately

  • Flag abnormal cost surges or policy violations immediately


3. Social Media Marketing (SMM)

  • Oversee posting schedule and content calendar for all brand social media accounts

  • Coordinate organic messaging with paid campaign timing

  • Manage reputation via comment monitoring, engagement, and community moderation

  • Ensure tone and brand voice are consistent across all social channels

  • Track social KPIs including engagement rate, reach, and growth by platform


4. Reporting & Campaign Review

  • Submit daily ads performance snapshot including:

    • Spend by platform

    • Leads generated

    • CPL, ROAS, and CTR trends

    • Active tests and winner status

    • Budget shifts or campaign pauses

  • Submit weekly strategy summary and recommendations to Director of Marketing

  • Maintain ad creative archive, campaign calendar, and test log

  • Work with Director of Marketing to forecast next-month campaign pacing and scaling strategy


Key Objectives & Results (OKRs):

Objective 1: Drive Efficient Lead Generation

  • Reduce blended CPL by 15% within 60 days

  • Launch 2 new prospecting campaigns and 2 retargeting sequences monthly

  • Maintain >3% average CTR across Meta and Google Ads

Objective 2: Scale High-Performing Campaigns

  • Identify top 3 highest-ROAS campaigns weekly and allocate increased budget

  • Maintain 15%+ weekly ROAS growth across core ad sets

  • Submit creative refreshes bi-weekly for top campaigns to prevent fatigue

Objective 3: Strengthen Attribution and Testing Discipline

  • Ensure 100% of campaigns are properly tagged and attributed

  • Track all A/B test performance and implement weekly winners

  • Launch one new offer or ad concept every 10 business days

Objective 4: Maintain Brand Engagement via Social Media

  • Maintain daily posting schedule across core platforms

  • Increase engagement by 25% within 90 days

  • Resolve all inbound comments and DMs within 24 hours


Position Requirements:

  • Must manage paid ad accounts across Meta and Google daily

  • Must enforce testing, attribution, and budget discipline across campaigns

  • Must coordinate with creative and landing page teams for offer execution

  • Must oversee SMM calendar, content performance, and community moderation


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in paid media buying and performance marketing

  • Deep expertise in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, UTM tagging, and performance reporting

  • Proven success lowering CPL and scaling high-ROAS campaigns

  • Experience managing social media strategy and branded engagement

  • Familiar with attribution tools (e.g., Triple Whale, Google Analytics, HubSpot tracking)

  • Clear communicator with data-driven instincts and fast reaction to campaign shifts
