Position Overview:

The UI/UX Designer is responsible for designing clean, high-converting, and user-friendly digital experiences across Nomad Internet’s website, landing pages, mobile interfaces, and internal tools. This role ensures all layouts follow CRO best practices, mobile-first design principles, and modern UX standards. The UI/UX Designer works closely with the CRO Manager, Web Developer, and Marketing team to turn campaign goals into frictionless digital interfaces that drive lead generation, sales, and retention. This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing and plays a key role in every design that goes live.


1. Wireframing & Page Layout Design

  • Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for new pages, flows, and features

  • Design high-converting landing pages, checkout flows, and product experiences

  • Follow CRO-led layout structures while enhancing visual clarity and readability

  • Prioritize simplicity, responsiveness, and goal completion in every layout

  • Present designs for internal feedback with rationale rooted in UX best practices


2. Mobile-First & Accessibility-Focused Design

  • Design all interfaces mobile-first, ensuring readability, usability, and tap-friendly navigation

  • Optimize spacing, font sizes, button states, and visual hierarchy for all screen sizes

  • Ensure layouts pass WCAG accessibility benchmarks and ADA compliance

  • Conduct usability checks across mobile, tablet, and desktop views

  • Collaborate with dev to implement mobile-specific animations and interactive elements


3. UX Testing & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate with CRO and Ads teams to support A/B testing and landing page variations

  • Launch moderated tests, clickmaps, or user flow reviews to identify friction

  • Use session recordings and heatmaps (e.g., Hotjar) to identify drop-off points

  • Gather feedback from internal teams and stakeholders to refine experiences

  • Support monthly UI/UX audits of key pages to recommend ongoing enhancements


4. Brand Alignment & Design Systems

  • Maintain consistency with Nomad’s visual style, color usage, fonts, and design system

  • Build and maintain a shared component library for scalable web and product designs

  • Deliver fully spec’d Figma or XD files for handoff to developers with notes and annotations

  • Collaborate with Art Director to translate static design elements into UI-ready components

  • Manage ongoing design file version control and documentation


Key Objectives & Results (OKRs):

Objective 1: Improve Conversion-Focused Design Quality

  • Launch high-converting UI designs for 3+ campaign landing pages per month

  • Increase mobile form completion rate by 25% in first 90 days

  • Reduce bounce rate across redesigned pages by 20%

Objective 2: Create a Consistent, Scalable Design System

  • Build full reusable design component library in Figma by Week 4

  • Finalize global typography, spacing, and color usage standards

  • Ensure 100% new page designs adhere to system by Week 6

Objective 3: Strengthen Mobile User Experience

  • Redesign top 5 mobile-view pages for clarity and speed

  • Improve mobile engagement metrics (scroll depth, form usage) by 30%

  • Ensure all mobile-first designs pass internal QA before publishing

Objective 4: Collaborate Across Teams for CRO Execution

  • Support at least 2 A/B test variants per week with design files

  • Attend weekly CRO and campaign planning meetings

  • Deliver all design handoffs on time with complete documentation and responsive previews


Position Requirements:

  • Must deliver mobile-first, conversion-focused layouts across all platforms

  • Must coordinate closely with CRO, Ads, and Web teams for test and campaign execution

  • Must maintain brand consistency while improving functional UX

  • Must deliver fully documented, developer-ready files in Figma or XD


Required Qualifications:

  • 4–6 years experience in UI/UX design for high-growth websites or SaaS/e-commerce

  • Advanced skills in Figma (preferred), Adobe XD, or Sketch

  • Strong understanding of mobile-first, accessibility, and responsive design best practices

  • Familiarity with A/B testing environments, CRO strategy, and landing page design principles

  • Ability to present design thinking clearly and iterate based on feedback

  • Experience working directly with developers to implement designs accurately and efficiently
