Position Overview:
The Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Manager is responsible for increasing the percentage of site visitors who convert into leads or customers across all Nomad Internet landing pages, product pages, and funnels. This role combines analytical skill with behavioral insight to drive high-impact testing and offer deployment strategies. The CRO Manager works cross-functionally with design, development, ads, and content teams to implement A/B tests, refine UX/UI, optimize funnel flow, and ensure each campaign has a clearly tracked, conversion-optimized destination. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and is directly accountable for improving lead quality, reducing abandonment, and raising customer acquisition efficiency.
1. Funnel Optimization & Conversion Analysis
Own the full conversion funnel from ad click to checkout or lead form
Monitor drop-off points, bounce rates, and low-performing segments in GA4
Identify where users stall or exit and implement page-specific fixes
Launch CRO audits across all new pages and products prior to campaign launches
Create standardized UX wireframes and mobile-first layouts for top-performing flows
2. A/B Testing & Landing Page Strategy
Develop and manage a structured testing calendar
Coordinate with the dev and design teams to launch A/B and multivariate tests
Test headlines, offers, CTAs, forms, images, page layouts, and testimonial placements
Analyze test results and deploy winners within 48 hours of statistical confidence
Build new landing pages, quiz funnels, or lead-gen microsites as needed
3. Offer Design & Messaging Optimization
Work with Ads and Email teams to ensure landing pages align with active campaign messaging
Translate top-performing ad copy into landing page components
Adjust pricing tables, risk-reversal language, and urgency triggers for higher conversion
Manage seasonal offer updates across homepage, cart, and checkout experiences
Maintain control group versions for offer tests to measure ROI lift
4. Analytics, Reporting & Attribution Support
Use GA4, Hotjar, and UTM-based tracking to monitor funnel performance
Create daily dashboards showing conversion rates by page, device, traffic source, and campaign
Tag all tests and major changes with unique tracking IDs
Collaborate with Ads Manager and Web Developer to ensure tracking is accurate and complete
Provide weekly reports to the Director of Marketing with performance deltas and next-step recommendations
Key Objectives & Results (OKRs):
Objective 1: Increase Conversion Rates Across Funnels
Raise average landing page conversion rate by 25% within 60 days
Maintain separate tracking for paid, organic, and email-driven traffic
Reduce bounce rate below 30% across top 10 traffic pages
Objective 2: Build and Test High-Converting Page Variations
Launch 3+ A/B tests per week across high-impact pages
Deploy winning variants within 48 hours of test completion
Maintain a 50%+ success rate on launched tests (variant beats control)
Objective 3: Align Offers with Campaign Performance
Ensure all paid campaigns have matching, CRO-approved landing destinations
Maintain a centralized offer tracker for all live promos and lead magnets
Coordinate copy and CTA updates based on live ad performance
Objective 4: Create Transparent Reporting Infrastructure
Maintain daily CRO dashboard for the marketing team
Provide weekly performance brief to Director of Marketing
Archive all past test results with final conversion outcome and rollout status
Position Requirements:
Must own and report on all site-wide and campaign-level conversion performance
Must build and manage a structured testing process and deploy high-performing variants quickly
Must coordinate with dev, design, and ads teams to ensure all campaign landing destinations are CRO-ready
Must be available during U.S. business hours with immediate visibility on funnel issues or test breakdowns
Required Qualifications:
5+ years in CRO, UX optimization, or performance marketing
Deep experience with GA4, Hotjar, A/B testing tools (VWO, Optimizely, Google Optimize, or equivalent)
Demonstrated success increasing conversion rates on high-volume paid campaigns
Strong understanding of behavioral psychology, landing page layout principles, and CTA structure
Experience collaborating with designers and developers to implement funnel improvements
Proven ability to balance creative testing with data-backed execution discipline
