To keep this program running smoothly and fairly for all customers, the following requirements apply.

Our goal: To allow new customers to test Nomad’s modem and wireless internet service in their real-world environment—whether rural, urban, mobile, or off-grid—without paying for service up front.
This program is not a demo. It is a full-performance, zero-cost trial for qualified users who are evaluating Nomad as their internet provider.
🧾 Participation Requirements
👤 1. New Customer Status
You must be a first-time Nomad customer. If you’ve previously subscribed to a Nomad plan or participated in a Try Before You Buy trial, you may not qualify for a second trial unless explicitly approved.
💡 Each household/address is eligible for one trial.
🇺🇸 2. U.S. Shipping Address
Participants must provide a valid shipping address within the continental United States or approved territories. Modems cannot be shipped internationally under the trial program.
📦 PO Boxes are acceptable for shipping, but physical addresses are preferred for activation accuracy.
🖥️ 3. Device & Trial Selection
You must select:
A modem compatible with your desired use case (e.g., Nomad Dragon for home or travel use)
A plan tier based on location and data needs (chosen during the trial request)
You’ll also be prompted to:
Enter an email address to create your trial account
Submit payment details to cover shipping only
💵 Note: No payment is collected for the modem or service during the trial.
💳 4. Shipping Fee Payment
Participants are required to pay a small one-time shipping fee. This covers the cost of delivering the pre-activated modem to your address.
There are no additional fees, deposits, or hidden charges.
🔌 5. Activation Within 48 Hours
Once your modem is delivered, you must activate your trial at:

⏱️ Activation must occur within 48 hours of delivery. If not activated, the modem may be remotely disabled until activation is completed.

After successful activation, you’ll receive:
Unlimited, unthrottled wireless data
Access to your plan tier with full speed service
Use of the modem for any connected devices (up to 128 supported)
You have 7 calendar days to evaluate Nomad’s service before making a decision to continue.

A. If You Love It — Upgrade
Log in and choose a plan
Billing begins only after you upgrade
Your service continues without interruption
No hardware changes or reinstallation needed
B. If You Don’t Love It — Return It
Visit RecycleNomad.com
Print your prepaid return label
Repack the modem and drop it off within 10 days of trial end
🛡️ Failure to return the modem within 10 business days may result in a non-return fee to cover the hardware.
🧯 What You Are Not Required To Do
To make this truly risk-free, Nomad does NOT require any of the following:
❌ No contract or subscription commitment
❌ No credit check
❌ No deposit or security hold
❌ No cancellation process
❌ No activation fees
❌ No technician visits or installation scheduling
❌ No usage limits or throttling during the trial
You are free to use, test, evaluate, and return the product without ever speaking to a sales agent—unless you want help.
🚫 Program Integrity Safeguards
We monitor for abuse of the Try Before You Buy program to preserve fairness. You may be disqualified or charged if:
You attempt to start multiple trials from the same household or name
You request repeated hardware trials using different email addresses
You fail to return a modem after trial expiration
You attempt to resell or tamper with Nomad equipment
We reserve the right to disable service or deny future participation if these patterns are detected.
