Changing your WiFi password is a great way to keep your network secure! Follow these simple steps, and you’ll have a new password set up in no time.
Let’s get started:
Step 1: Log into the Inseego Web Interface
Open your web browser on a device that is connected to your Nomad Air or Raptor.
In the browser’s address bar, type 192.168.1.1 and press Enter.
You’ll see the login screen for your Inseego device. Enter the default username and password:
• Username: admin
• Password: (Use the password you set during setup, or the default password found on the modem label)
Click Login.
Step 2: Access the WiFi Settings
Once logged in, look at the top menu and click on WiFi.
In the WiFi section, find the WiFi Settings for the network you want to change (there will be options for 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks).
Step 3: Change the WiFi Password
Scroll down to the section labeled Security or Password.
In the Password field, delete the current password and type in your new one.
• Make sure the new password is something secure but easy to remember for you.
• Tip: Use a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols for extra security.
Step 4: Save Your Changes
After entering your new password, scroll down and click the Apply or Save button.
The modem may reboot, or your WiFi connection might temporarily disconnect. Don’t worry—this is normal!
Step 5: Reconnect Your Devices
Once the new password is set, you’ll need to reconnect your devices to the WiFi using the updated password.
