# How to Restore Your Service After Payment

We’re here to help you get back online quickly! If your service was disconnected and you’ve just made a payment, it may take up to **2 hours** for your Nomad modem to reconnect to the nearest tower.


Here’s what you can do to get back up and running:


1\. **Wait 2 hours** after your payment for the modem to automatically reconnect.

2\. If your service hasn’t restored after 2 hours, try **power cycling your modem**. This is as simple as unplugging the modem from the power outlet, waiting a few seconds, and then plugging it back in.
