Nomad Air Setup Instructions

The Nomad Air modem is pre-configured and activated! 

All you need to do is plug it in!

Step 1: Take your Nomad Air modem out of the box and plug your power cord into the “power port” on the back of your Air. Now, plug into the wall!

Step 2: Wait 30 minutes while your Nomad Air locks onto the best tower in your area. During this time, the LED indicator will blink white. Once the Air has locked on to the closest tower, the LED will be either green or blue. 

(Note: Ensure your modem is free of obstructions and place in or near a window for optimal connection)

Step 3: Once the LED is green or blue, locate the Primary Wi-Fi password at the bottom of the Air to connect all of your devices!

Important: The SIM card is preinstalled in the modem. Please do not remove the SIM unless asked by the tech support team.

FAQ’s

Can I plug my device(s) directly into the Air? 

Yes! There is one available ethernet port on the back of your Air so you can wire in directly!

How do I resolve any speed or reliability issues with my Air?

Move your Air to different parts of your home or business. Ensure your modem is completely free of obstructions and is placed in or near a window on the highest floor of your home or business. This alone can improve signal quality to the closest tower near you. Also, reboot your modem by simply unplugging from power and plugging back in to refresh your connection!
