# What is the Second SIM Slot on My Nomad Air, Raptor, or Ark?

If you have a Nomad Air, Raptor or Ark, you likely have dual SIM slots on the back of your modem. The dual slots are designed to use multiple sims with multiple subscriptions. However, our plans only require a single SIM to function and connect.
